A marketing professional learns many avenues of reaching target customers ranging from the face to face networking of our predecessors to the social media of today’s world.  These notions and facilitating them are what separates a good marketing professional from a great one.  With this thought in mind, I found it extremely important to market myself differently than the an employer may typically see.  Take a moment and find out about Sheffie Cochran.

Why a personalized website?

The information age has opened new doors to new opportunities and new ways of communicating are needed to stay with the times.  Facebook and Google+ are usually for friends, family, information gathering (such as polls and opinion walls), and glorified soapboxes.  Twitter is typically used for quick blasts of information to masses of people and popularity gain.  LinkedIn is for professional networking, recruiting, and information exchange.  Reddit is the usual excuse for multitasking during the work day or looking at cute cat pictures.  These avenues are awesome for their purposes but a personalized view shows a level of commitment to positioning yourself via social and web communication.

What will I learn here?
